Peter & Margaret Reynolds

Elder & Elder's Wife

Peter was raised in Auckland in a Christian home where he made an early profession of faith. His tertiary education included a B.Ag.Com at Lincoln University in NZ, followed by an M.Div and D.Min at Westminster Theological Seminary, and a ThM at Covenant Theological Seminary, both in the United States.
From 1984 until 2015 Peter has been church planting and pastoring in South Auckland, teaching at Grace Theological College in the area of counselling, apologetics, hermeneutics and preaching, and working as a counsellor and conciliator with Grace Counselling and Conciliation Services.
Peter’s wife Margaret has also worked as a counsellor with qualifications gained both in NZ, and a Master’s in counselling from Covenant Seminary (USA). She and Peter together counsel with couples. They have three adult children and five grandchildren. They live in Auckland and visit with the Taupo congregation whenever possible. Peter considers it a privilege to be an elder in Grace Church Taupo, meeting monthly with Ian and Steve, and looking to the Lord to raise up elders from within the Taupo congregation as the Lord provides and enables.
